So you’re telling me that for a $200 tax stamp, I can have a properly rifled barrel and an extra 450 yards of capability. Sounds like a no-brainer.
However, I do give Franklin points for creativity.

Given, tax stamps are illegal. But whatever, that’s a different conversation that isn’t likely to lead anywhere.
They did get ALOT of publicity out of that little stunt though.

Everyone got excited for what is essentially a $2000 semiautomatic musket with nerf rockets coming out of the muzzle. Like you said... I'd rather just foot the $200 bill and get something that is actually useful. SHOT Show this year is a big flop IMO. This thing, $2000 PTR MP5 clones, a bunch of already announced pistols, annnnnnd... yeah. I did hear rumors about FN gearing up to make more FNCs stateside. If that's true, I'm in - if it will accept my Lancers and M3 Magpuls, all the better.

Yup, the Franklin Armory Reformation was a disappointment in my book too. Especially for the price tag! Ouch!! The new MP5 clones are interesting but I was hoping that they would be closer to the $1k mark. Maybe with time the price will drop. I'll be saving up for one of them. Or I might just buy a CZ Scorpion and save money and be happy.
Didn't hear anything about a new FNC! Whoa!! And I thought I was gun poor already......

Prepare to be extra gun poor - there are a fair number of transferable FNC auto sears floating around already.
