I'm having an issue reloading 458 SOCOM. After resizing, the base of the brass case is .542 instead of .538. these cases will not chamber in the rifle they were shot out of. all other dimensions are correct. I contacted Lee Precision, they offered to measure the die if I sent it to them. But they also said that the sizing die wouldn't size the last 1/4 inch of the case. this is where my problem seems to be. Anyone else having this problem and any solutions? The cases do not have any noticeable bulging or signs of over pressure.

It's been a few years since I reloaded 458, but I used Lee dies and don't remember having any problems. Make sure the sizing die is screwed ALL the way down to the shellholder. Or maybe try a different brand sizing die.

Tried that, no luck... contacted Hornady, Their tech was concerned that it may be unlocking the bolt a little early(timing Issue). Also sent an e-mail to Radical firearms to check if the gas block is adjustable...
