So many unanswered questions...

And here's a big one: Why haven't we seen any video footage of Stephen Paddock whatsoever? Paddock carried out his attack in one of the most monitored cities in the world. You can scarcely find a nook or cranny of Las Vegas that isn't under video surveillance. Yet not even one second of Paddock video has leaked? No video of him carrying the gun-laden bags into the hotel? No video of him checking in? No video of whatever went down between Paddock and Campos? Not even any video of Paddock at one of the many casinos he frequented? We're told Paddock spent a lot of time in Vegas. There must be literally hundreds of hours of footage of him spread out between dozens of hotels and casinos. None of it has leaked? All of it was confiscated immediately?

That doesn't make any sense.

A Preliminary Report on the LV Investigation is out. Its not a standard practice to do this. I guess they can see how many holes people find in it and correct/CYA for the final. I haven't read through it yet but was interested in paddock body position after "shooting himself". How did his foot get strattled by a rifle bipod, several pics of this on the net.. Ballistic path evidence would give his body/head position: Standing, sitting, laying down and which way he was facing. The PR says a rifle was "UNDER HIS LEG"! Is their investigation that poorly done or does the leg/rifle bipod screw the suicide evidence they want to present?


Reading further, Reoprt states "Rifle under body". Later it says Officers rolled Paddock on his side to check for ID. This maybe when rifle under the body was removed and how it may have been posed over Paddocks leg as seen in photos.

THE LESSONS OF LAS VEGAS

I have written a piece on every major terrorist event in America for the past five years. Tragically, it is almost as if I can reuse much of what I said in my past posts. Usually the articles conclude with something along the lines of – “carry your gun everywhere regardless of the rules, keep your level of alertness high, and always remember that we live in a time of war.”

Still very valid advice but this attack, while brilliant as well as it was evil, was not anticipated. Who would have thought of such a thing?! And that is in part why it was so successful. We said the same when a terrorist drove a truck into a crowd in Nice, France and killed masses of people crowded together. We said the same thing in Mumbai…and what seemed like a lifetime ago in September of 2001. But evil is clever and resourceful, and we must anticipate its moves lest we fall to its plans.

I will divide this piece into the motivations of the bad guy, his tactics and strategy (from what we know), the reason his attack was so devastating, and suggestions for prevention of such a thing happening again.

Wanna see what a civil war here will look like? Watch the clownshow in this shithole country over the next 10-24 months. And then multiply it by a thousand fold.

The long term solution to the ailments of this country is a SMALLER government. A government that does LESS not more!

The GCA 1968 Title 1 Read the first paragraph. It clearly states what gun control SHOULD NOT DO! Starts with this:

"PURPOSE Sec. 101.
The Congress hereby declares that the purpose of this title is to provide support to Federal, State, and local law enforcement officials in their nght against crime and violence, and it is not the purpose of this title to place any undue or unnecessary Federal restrictions or burdens on law-abiding citizens with respect to the acquision , possession, or use of firearms appropriate to the purpose of hunting, trapshooting, target shooting, personal protection, or any other lawful activity, and that this title is not intended to discourage or eliminate the private ownership or use of firearms by law-abiding citizens for lawful purposes, or provide for the imposition by Federal regulations of any procedures or requirements other than those reasonably necessary to implement and effectuate the provisions of this title."

When a firearms related crime is committed the BG is killed or caught and goes through the judicial process. That is the end, justice has been served. Vocal anti gun groups and politicians want MORE than Justice. They push to ignore the Purpose and specific exclusions in GCA Title 1 "and is not the purpose of this Title to place undue or unnecessary Federal Restrictions or burdens on law-abiding citizens... "(as above). What all the gun grabbers want is the elimination of firearm Rights (some listed in Purpose above) with the application of COLLECTIVE PUNISHMENT,

"Collective punishment is a form of retaliation whereby a suspected perpetrator's family members, friends, acquaintances, sect, neighbors, ethnic group, interests or politically related group is targeted. The punished group may often have no direct association with the other individuals or groups, or direct control over their actions." Collective punishment is exactly what every single gun control issue pushes. It is not about safety or prevention, thousands of American men, women and children die every week but only law abiding firearms owners are targeted for Collective Punishment due to some individuals criminal act. Laws are suppose to deter crime and identify penalties. Intended laws that are punitive on prior lawful conduct or possessions are not a deterent as criminals don't follow Laws: which only leaves Collective Punishment be applied to firearm owners as a group.

We have Constitutional protections but The Courts want to write laws instead of interpreting their Constitutionality. There is a legally binding reference and I find its categorisation appropriate:

"No protected person may be punished for an offense he or she has not personally committed.*Collective*penalties and likewise all measures of intimidation or of terrorism are prohibited. ..". Under the 1949 Geneva Conventions,*collective punishmentis a war*crime.
