FS/FT Shilen/Savage .308 FWB, $500
Picked this up in a trade. It is a Shilen Heavy barrel .308. , Savage action with the Accu-Trigger, threaded barrel, bedded wood stock, with 1-10 round mag. The person I bought this gun from didn't really know anything about it so I called the person he got it from and this was his story. The gun was built from the ground up by a retired Armorer who built guns for military sniper teams, but did this gun for his neighbor as a gift.thats the short story and believe what you will. The gun shoots great with not much recoil, it is a heavy gun, not one you're gonna drag around the woods.I shot it against my Ruger precision at 400 yds and they were pretty much dead even.Everything I have read about Shilen barrels is they are some of the best depending on your opinion.
