    Execellent vid! Awesome to see what they did, step by step to create arms of that period. Thought I was hot stuff when I built a Kentucky Rifle kit decades ago, lol. Humbling to see that craftsman work. I went to Colonial Williamsburg around 92 but the Gunsmith Shop was closed. No Hours posted, may have been permanent or no resident Gunsmith at that time.

    My dad left me a lot of files when he past. That was their CNC machine back in the day. I still use these files to date and take care of them as he taught me. Great seeing a craftsman at work.

    great article... i went thru williamsburg sometime around the mid 70s... i seem to remember seeing some blacksmithing going on...horseshoes or something..do not recall seeing the gunshop...

    it is amazing though to see the guy at work..
