So after shooting in the 2 gun match this past Saturday I was reminded about the benefits of having a range cart. I'm looking to buy a jogging stroller type to work with. I figured I would start a discussion on the topic since the only other one was 4 years old...

Share your cart pics and/or ideas of building one. Thanks JW

I paid quite a bit for Rugged Gear stroller (used, on here), but I didn't have to do anything to it. I really like about 90% of it.

I wish it were about an inch or two wider to accommodate my range bag better, but I guess I could get another range bag that fit better... Mine has the non-pneumatic tires, but sometimes I think the pneumatic tires would work better in sandy terrain. The brakes don't work all that well and actually bent one time when I tried to push the stroller with the brake engaged. Other than that, it's really fantastic. It makes hauling all of my crap around much easier.

This is the one I have:

Edit: I've used and still have one of those fold-up wagons. It works fine for USPSA, but I generally prefer the stroller.

I found one on Craigslist the other day that I'm waiting on a return call. I think I may end up needing a smaller range bag though to fit in the seat.
I thought about a four wheel cart or folding cart like you have but going to try the stroller thing first. They seem to work well with long guns.

The width of the aluminum frame that folds is the limiting factor and a double stroller would be too wide for me to maneuver easily. Thanks for the suggestions, though.

JW, I have a old 3 wheel stroller at my house. It's in rough shape but if you come and get that other stuff I'll let you check it out and take it if you want. You might be able to play around with it and make something out of it.
I guess anyone can take it. If someone wants to come get it.

Oh, gotcha. I think I've only seen double jogging strollers that sit side by side, I didn't even think of one behind the other.

Painted chartreuse, with oversized mud tires,a cup holder or two,a "kicker" motor, and a parking brake,it would be IDPA legal I suppose. --- SAWMAN

Looks good , stout . What kinda weight , weapons , gear , etc ?
Mainly carrying a range bag, a rifle or two, and some snacks. I probably would have been fine with foldable wagon but what's the fun in something that everyone else has.

You can always convert it back to a stroller when you need one.
Well...I made some "modifications" today that would prevent that. Right now I'm $15 into the build and no other "chillrens" in the works so...

My yard cart does double duty. Halls my gear for matches and stuff around the yard the rest of the time. Add a couple ATV rifle racks, 1x4 and of course the pvc umbrella holder and you are good to go. Tacticool black too - sorry it doesn't come in FDE. IMG_1579.JPG
