As I mentioned in some other threads, I'm starting to play around with designing stages (for USPSA only, at this time) and learning to use Sketchup at the same time.

I'm interested to hear about what you like to see in stages, what you hate, cool ideas, etc.

I don't want to give away all of my stage designs, but here is one I just finished (sketchup animation):

Let me know what you think.

looks like a well-thought-out stage Brant. as long as it is SS friendly as outlined in section 1.2, it gets a :thumb: from me

    I believe it does.

1.2.1.3 Long Courses: in Level III or higher matches must not
require more than 32 rounds to complete. At any level match,
course design and construction must not require more than 8
scoring hits from any single location or view, nor allow a
competitor to shoot all targets in the course of fire from any
    single location or view.

The targets in the center require at least 3 different locations in order to shoot all of them and no more than 3 targets are visible from any single position.

I've made a few more in sketchup over the last week:

Edit: link deleted because some of these stages will be used in a major match later this year.

I've added a few more stages to the playlist linked above. I feel like I'm getting better the more I do (imagine that).
