While visiting oldest son, he made some amazing steaks with the sous vide method. Needless to say, I had to play with this method!

First steaks prepped and into the pot. Almost done!

Steak and instant chipotle bacon taters as a side. Yummy!

Decided to make some sweet potatoes for the wife next. Two kinds prepped for the pot.

    Taters are in the pot.

I know the wife will love them!

Earlier this week Target had the Anova Nano with bluetooth on sale for $79.99, regular $99.99. Easy to use and great results. I am going to sear the other steak for a breakfast steak tomorrow.

Wife really like the sweet potatoes, as I knew she would

Baked some eggs to go with the wife’s homemade sour dough. A little basil from our garden was a nice touch. F1B055A1-CB4A-46C5-87B1-3D4C827C0872.jpg

I will bet it was good! Oldest made a Cuban style pork roast with black beans on the side and rice in his Instapot. Love some pork roast, no matter how it is made.

First chicken teriyaki sous vide with the wife's home made sauce. It was the most tender and juicy teriyaki ever!

pass the ketchup and tabasco...only thing could have made that better, maybe some collards, and ham, or squash and onions pan grilled

that's the kind of food you leave out after supper, for snacking back and forth to the galley

    Ate a seagull once (it's a long story). Tasted like . . . ? . . . a toasted turd with a strong fishy taste.
I really doubt that OH . . POSSUM would be much better. --- SAWMAN
