I will try a variation of that, with alfredo, sausage, scallops, shrimp and broccoli florets....over spinach totellinis.

Not for dinner tonight, but marinade in place for tomorrow night. A Carne Asada recipe my bro got in PR.

Felt like a hearty breakfast this morning. Hash-brown (Hungry Man) potato scramble with onion, jalapeno, and over medium eggs. Had sourdough English muffins with Philly green onion and chive cream cheese to go with it.

gonna try this soon, but drop the dill garnish, and put a thin slice of smoked gouda inside

I did similar once with teriyaki marinated dove breast on the grill that turned out really good. If I do them again, I may have to slice the breast and stick a little cheese in, as that was the one element it was missing.

I would prefer sausage and chicken gumbo over seafood gumbo any day. And if it had okra in it, more better! Just saying.

Different strokes for different folks. I do not care for okra. This has in it what I call the second trinity; chicken, sausage, and shrimp. Not the correct sausage or even my second choice, but smoked sausage ain't bad in it!

Not really gumbo without okra according to the dictionary but I don’t like okra either. One piece ruins the whole pot for me, dictionaries need updating to add gumbo with no okra
