Damp Rid containers are cheap and easy!!! When I first put them in my safes I was quite surprised at how much water they collected!

I think I'm going to try it too. May have wasted money on the one from TS. I'm setting up my new safe and trying to get everything right this weekend.

Here is what my DampRid collects in 60 days. I am using a non-stock larger water catch container. Due to vertical slits in chemical reservoir (black), you need to use the stock (white/opaque) water catch container (cut drain holes in bottom) which will direct water flow into larger water reservoir (clear). I buy the refill bag instead of en entire Kit.

How good is this stuff? Great! The refill bag has a press seal closure like a ZipLock bag. I put the closed DampRid bag inside a ZipLock Freezer bag. I roll/compress it to get as much air out of it as possible. Last use, I found small beads of water on the inside of the "Closed" freezer bag! This stuff really attracts moisture.

I think everybody with a gun safe has started using Damp Rid I picked up another refill bag today. First time Walmart has had them in stock in the last couple of times I’ve been in.
