Thanks Wild!!! That looks like a great site. They even have a forum for overweight people, which is probably where I need to be. I've probably got at least $50,000 invested in cheeseburgers and 43 years in the girl I have now so I'd better let the younger guys spread conservative values!

Friendly fire: "If you just broadly endorse the Green New Deal, you are liable to upset one side of the aisle or the other. And that's not constructive. The idea that you could go 100 percent [renewable energy] in 10 years would require a lot of things happening perfectly, simultaneously."
    —SunPower CEO Tom Werner

Friendly fire II: "We love the enthusiasm the Green New Deal has brought to the climate issue ... but we need to operate in political reality."
—Solar Energy Industries Association's Dan Whitten

"If the Dems actually think the world is going to end, shouldn't they be making big compromises with with Republicans to stop that? 'We'll give you all free AR-15s in exchange for a carbon tax!'"
    —Frank J. Fleming

"Environmentalism really has become a full blown religion. It has its core beliefs, its apocalyptic vision, its call to repentance, its rules and moral codes, its priests and priestesses (@AOC, etc), its prophets (Gore, etc), its child saviors (Thunberg)."
    —Matt Walsh

This is meant to be serious about gas emissions and the gas results from eating beans are not even considered lol.

If Everyone Ate Beans Instead of Beef

With one dietary change, the U.S. could almost meet greenhouse-gas emission goals.

Instead of click bait, post a little more information.

reported left-wing newspaper the Guardian on February 22, 2004.
2004 sounds like an election year and some silly propaganda. At the time I checked what the mainline climate group was saying for year 2100 they were saying something 25 centimeters or maybe 50cm. This was the time that Gore was showing a glacier all of a sudden melting that apparently happened every year for the same glacier annually.
Let's not here like those idiots and try to stick with facts. Sure some say the sky is falling.

I disagree on the referenced Article being "click bait". It's a "current" review of extremist climate change alarmists claims of future gloom and doom. These are some of the same folks that lable those with opposing views as climate change deniers. Point being that those "claims" were total B.S. wether they cherry picked data or just pulled that crap out of their asses. Their prior extensive erroneous claims form a baseline on which to judge their more current follies. Therefore, the Article is informative towards forming individual reader opinions.

Profits from the "bill of goods" peddled internationally and based on such junk science and worse case speculation continue to make Billions of dollars on Carbon Credits.

You said 5 days and then there was just a link. I found a 5 day prediction hard to believe and the choice was to click to find out what sort of nonsense was going on. Upon clicking that was not exactly the tone of article that said more like 16 years and not 5 days.

Even more confusion on global warming science-Ozone hole
By Victoria Jaggard, SCIENCE Executive Editor

As a cartoon-loving kid in the early ‘90s, my pop culture experience was packed with shows featuring strong environmental themes, from Captain Planet to Fern Gully. As such, few things could get my young heart racing more than news about that ominous real-life villain known as the ozone hole. The hole over Antarctica was a cautionary tale: It was clearly created by chlorofluorocarbon gases (CFCs) spewed into the atmosphere by human activities. Even after the chemicals were phased out of use in 1989, the existing gases remained in the air, and the hole kept appearing. That’s probably why I felt such a huge wave of relief when, in 2016, it looked like the ozone hole was finally starting to heal, and the CFC problem seemed to be wrapping up.

Not so fast, argues a recent paper in the journal Nature. While we were all watching that pesky ozone hole to the south, CFCs were apparently doing a different kind of harm to the northern polar realm. Based on new data crunched in their climate model, the paper authors argue that CFCs are likely what's caused the Arctic to warm even faster than the rest of the planet under the influence of climate change. CFCs are, after all, potent greenhouse gases.

One shred of optimism: since the phase-out, CFCs have been on the decline, so perhaps this Arctic amplification soon will be, too.
