Even though I don't shoot them I can see the frustration and I thought the same when I wanted to shoot an IDPA. I mean it does stand for International Defensive Pistol Association.... Key word Defensive... I was thinking it would be a great place to test my own self on being able to use my defensive techniques but once I started looking at the rules I thought.... "How can this be called Defensive when can use half of the defensive draws?".... But still seems like fun... If I would stop buying stuff for reloading I might be able to start with IDPA lol

The day they allow "alternate" holster positions is the day I find another game. As fun as it is, it's not worth taking a bullet.

I hope anyone who carries doesn't depend on matches as their only source of training.
