That use to happen to the school buses have in Baker. Only difference being the thieves used screws to plug the holes so they could keep hitting the same bus over and over. I’m sure there was more than one bus with screws in the tank

Edit: I didn't get my own car until after high school except for 2 Ford Anglia's that I pieced 1 out of when I was 15. Gas was 0.30/gal and it got around 35 mpg so $2 and I could drive for a couple of weeks. One of the few neighbors had a dealers license and he got an Alabama tag for it and I don't remember who's name it was registered in but it wasn't in my 15 year old butts name. Got almost a year out of that POS before it died on me coming home from Ft. Walton. I was getting on Hwy.85 just south of Duke Field after cutting thru the Res. when it crapped out on me, was able to coast across to the north bound shoulder. Had my older brother Mike with me and we had barely the hood raised when a trooper pulled up behind me lights flashing. Thought I was going to jail but when he saw the piston thru the block he just asked if he could give us a ride. He never asked for ID and dropped us off on I-10 at the Antioch Rd. overpass.
Sorry for the edit turning into a story but my brother Mike has been on my mind, 6 more days will make 43 years since I pulled him out of the wreck we were in that took his life. 19 years old and driving to fast mad at a girl that had been rubbing up on teasing him only to sat NO

The fruits of Facebook!! When you put that much personal shit online it's bound to happen. I refuse to rejoin facebook, but when what used to be "personal info" becomes public to anyone, shit happens. Used to be politics were personal and anonymous, that's what made democracy possible.

Not trying to detract from the irony of a liberal shooting a conservative. Just fruit for thought. Democracy is about the people making personal choices without public persecution.
