My bro Dave @ TGD pulled some major strings and hooked it up. (even tho he hates this gun lol)

This is the CZ Scorpion Evo Pistol. This thing is begging to become a SBR, buuuuut the damn 922r compliance rule. I have a plan for the brake and stock. I'll need a few more USA produced parts. CZ states the mags will be produced state side so the will be three more points to take away from the 16. Just a matter of time before it all comes together.

I will post the AAR after I get it to the range. image.jpg image.jpg

How much? I've been drooling over these on the internet for a month or so. Haven't gotten to see one in person yet.

At this point you are better to wait or hit gunbroker. These things are just hard to get right now.

Usually better to wait in general. Let the initial buying madness slow down. Price might come down a bit.

That's not bad. I can't think of any other firearms in this category that are cheaper. Maybe the Vector Arms Uzi

These are much cheaper than a lot of the announced competitors. The mpx is finally shipping but that's almost double the cost and it's a version 1 with a fix already in the works. The mags for these are supposed to cheap as well. Mpx mags are looking at $50+.

I love the look of the Sig but love the CZ price way better...I don't understand this 922r stuff...can't an American company make a stock for it??..wouldn't that be like turning an AR pistol into an SBR??Help me understand this

BTW...what issues is the Sig having...and anyone seen any of the MCX's yet (rifle)??

There's going to be lots of options for the cz that will keep it 922r. CZ has one coming, I heard manticore arms is working it as well. There will be others.

The Sig currently doesn't work in .357 or 40. The current upper is 9mm only. There's a fix in the works that is supposed to be here this year.... If you don't care about those calibers, it doesn't matter. That's just what I've read on the web so don't take it for gospel.

I think it would be fun to own a 9mm light weight carbine type of weapon...especially since my primary range is handgun caliber only. I've wanted one for years, but the prices are crazy though for the established designs (HK clones such as POF, etc) which is probably not so light weight anyway. Hopefully there will other competitors playing in the market.

There's several coming out but it looks like the CZ is going to be the cheapest. Hopefully the prices come down a little before the next craze happens.

I had one come in the shop that lasted literally 15 seconds after I opened the ups box. Customer was standing there and he said name your price I'll take it. Sold it for 850.
