What "Thumper" is that taking 500 grain bullets? Guess we'll have to "double plug" when it's your turn.

For hunting. I can afford it, I just don't want to...
You know if you bring that one you need to bring enough to share.:p
    Yeah, yeah, you got me.

458 Socom AR pistol. I'm assuming that I could use it for the rifle match.

Yeah, you can. You may want to fire one round per target instead of two like we normally do for the 5.56 rounds. One hit from 458 SOCOM should be sufficient with correct bullet placement, or . . . . . you can go ahead and fire two per target should your wallet desire. Normally with .308 Win cal rifles we normally do one round per target, so it wouldn't be out of place to do the same thing with "The Thumper."

We will also allow those who wish to use their .22LR rifles replicating their AR's etc. to be placed in a different class. So you can use the Mousegun rounds too.

That's pretty cool. I didn't realize that. Yeah, I would hope that a 500gr Hornady Interlock going over 1000fps would inflict some major damage.

So, I can bring my 1911-22 & MP 15-22 to shot exhibition on the cheap? Just triple tap every target.

I've never even seen the IDPA videos and i am at work with YouTube blocked.

I'll investigate between now and then but it sounds like a good time!

It really is a good time. But do not take our words for it! Come on out and experience it for yourself! For the handgun part, I am pretty sure the rounds have to be 9mm or bigger.

Yeah, the handgun portion needs to be 9x19 or .38 Special or larger as it is run strictly on the IDPA rules where the side match is a bit more loose and the rifle portion ammo can get expensive, so we give the option of the .22LR.

Any specifics you can give about the side match? Round count, distances, etc?

    Thanks for everything you do!
