If you liked one second after, then "lights out" by David Crawford would be a much better read. One second after was good but lights out was 10 times better in my opinion. Or for you walking dead fans, "no easy hope" by James cook was very good.

I would like to read Lights Out as well...although some of the reviews I read about it said it didn't come close to One Second After. Granted, reviews are like assholes! ;)

Thank you for the suggestion! For the record, I wasn't calling you an asshole. I don't know you well enough for that.

I'm good with any of them. Let MsChief call it so I can send the wife unit to BAM on her way to work.

Alas Babylon by Pat Frank is a book I had to read in college that was about life after nuclear war. No electricity, running water, society etc.. Covers the struggles to survive but is for entertainment not a guide. I would like to read it agin myself I really enjoyed it.

I used to read fairly often but it has been years for me.

also Dean Koontz Dark Rivers of the heart come to mind.
