I'll be in Panama City next week. Anyone have any suggestions on some good firearms/reloading supply stores to visit?

    Not much here.

    Beach.

I mean there's Jay's, if you want to chuckle at some crazy pricing..... but no bargains there.

Black Angus in town closed, now for sale. Angelos on the beach is closed for winter. There's others but I didn't think the OP was looking for places to eat.

I just found out today that one of the navy seebees that I work with, his brother owns that place. I'm gonna head over tomorrow to see what kind of deals he can offer. I'll let you know!

I wanted to get into Arias Artifacts while I was there but their business hours and my work hours didn't mesh. And yes, I'm not sure what Jay's has going on with their prices but their store in Crestview is always full but I don't see many buyers. I've used them as an FFL for online delivery.

What's interesting about Jays here, is that they pay most of their employees in store credit (full retail pricing, no employee discount).

I guess that's the only way they stay in business, because even the uninitiated can tell that their pricing is off of the charts.

Arias is owned by a very nice older couple,,,
I've spoken with them several times at gunshows,,
usually on the immediate right when you enter the room left of entrance
they have a tiny shop in a huge mostly empty shopping center when you exit 98 for Thomas Drive

You hit the nail on the head. We had a group of about 10-15 guys from work that went there to shoot. We had called ahead to let them know we were coming and they said no issues. Once there the service was awful. It was like we were a burden to them. They wanted to charge my friend for his 2 kids who were not shooting to just go out on the range. The kids were 6 and 8. They will never get another dime from my pockets.

Yea, they do seem to treat their customers as burdens. Pretty stunning.

My co-worker telling me about them jacking him up about trying to leave with his spent bass was the straw that broke the camel's back for me.

    You at nsapc ?

There used to be a pawnshop that advertised some pretty good stuff on Armslist. I don’t remember the name but seems like they had a store at DeGama and Hwy 98 and also one on Transmitter.
There’s also a pawnshop on 23rd near the college.
