I was looking at some "Q" stuff the other day, very cool and innovative. Nice collection of "shorty" blasters by the way.

Thx. I agree Q is pretty innovative. I can tell you that after holding the honey badger, can’t believe how light it is.

    Fellas...the Instagram photos, duh! Lol
In all seriousness, I have to agree with the above. And the a 7.5" 556 is obnoxiously loud.

It’s actually not horrible. Assuming 2200 at muzzle, 300 is doable. Terminal ballistics would be absolutely garbage past 100, and you’ll have a hard time hearing the steel at 300, but theoretically doable with good holds, I suppose. I just went to a 16 though, so definitely a different approach.

I can’t imagine more than a 10% deviation if chronoed. Assuming the 2200 is correct, the 300 hold with a 200yd zero is the same as my 16” at 400, which is a top hold for a full size plate. Most importantly though, it’s hitting significantly softer. In fact, I don’t think you’d be able to hear it, so it’s pretty much pointless IMO. I’d be interested to hear how OP uses the setup. It may very well be perfect for what he does with it. Whatever that may be.

    I have to ask: why a 1-6 on a 7.5” pistol?

The twists on the Q and rattler is 1/5 and noveske GB is 1/7 if I remember right. Fun accurate weapons and never had a malfunctions with none of them. I use them from 100 and closer. I have other stuff for longer ranges. The muzzle blast is a little bit much, but I plan on suppressing them here shortly. I have to quit being lazy and a need a kick to look into my options as I am a noob on suppressors.

    What size wrench needed ??
Just grind down the sides of a "too wide" wrench. I have some that have been ground down over the years.
In fact I might have one . . . or pick one up from Harbor Freight. --- SAWMAN

I think I'm done with the 300BO pistol. 10.5" upper. Poverty pony lower with Aero parts kit and Geissele trigger. SB PDW brace. Sig Romeo 5 RD. Spikes spring and H2 buffer. Streamlight Protac with pressure switch. Weighs in at 8lbs 13oz with a full mag. This thing is a tack driver at 110yds. Was ringing the steel plates on the backstop every shot at ERGC with the red dot. It's now my go to home defense weapon if the pistol is out of reach. It's definitely my go to boogaloo weapon.
