Just had the neighbors 4 year old scare his momma plus me and my wife. He went and hid across the road for damn near and hour. His mom and my wife walked our field and woods before calling the Sheriff. I drove all the fields across from us with my grandson calling him. After the fourth officer arrived the little boy came out and told him hi I’m Joshua who are you
Thanks to God he was just hiding and not abducted

Glad he is ok. Could have been much worse. But at the same time I hope he gets more than a “slap on the wrist” or a “timeout” Hopefully this be a life learning lesson

Glad he is OK, but I guess he won "Hide and Go Seek".

    Great dog!
Thanks. We have been testing her social abilities: loves everybody we introduce her to down to a squealing 20 mo Grandson. Didn't hear her bark for the first few days, does a high yip when she wants to play and is ignored, baked at a neighbor starting yard work then ignored it. Not hand shy but cowers away when you have long stick in hand, probably associates it to abuse and we will work through that.

Dog cautious/shy but warms up fast, doesn't bark at dogs or cats but not cat friendly. Had a stray cat that hung around our back yard that had a uneasy truce with our last dogs. Peaches chased her twice so the cat moved out. Lol

Rescue Dogs can be a challenge but we (dog & us) all got lucky!

Well it's a good day for me, been in the job hunt wanting to stay with my company that I've been with 16 years after a contract restructure but was having a hard time due to all the jobs wanting your security clearance investigation date being 5 years or newer. My clearance investigation was Oct. 2012, more than 5 years ago so wasn't qualified for a lot of jobs. I filed for a Security Clearance Re-Investigation on May 2nd and was told it would take 6-8 months. Found out today my clearance has been renewed, only took 2 months 23 days! Now my new investigation date is 7/16/2018, I now qualify for a lot more jobs with my current company!

BTW, guess what day it is?

I'm at work today, for the first time this week. I got some sort of virus or stomach bug starting Sunday evening that put me out of commission for 3 full days. I still don't have much energy, but at least I can hold down food and water now.

I'll take a cold and sinus infection any day over that shit. No pun intended.

I normally don't even get a fever from a sinus infection, but whatever this was had me at 101.8 degrees. And none of the bugs I've ever gotten in the past have lasted this long. Definitely not a fun time.
