At least they have the right to bear rocks and Molotov Cocktails.

Natural evolution of a socialist country.

So, when the Socialists wonder why the rest of us despise them, it's because we actually love our Country and don't want it to become another shithole like that.

Just as Mr Owl found out how many licks it takes to get to the tootsie roll center of a Tootsie pop,

I now know that it takes 28 laps to cut my dads grass.

I get a lot of thinking done while mowing grass, It’s very calming and allows me to think through problems all while still being productive.
    If that makes sense

An 8-year old girl went to the office with her father on 'Take Your Kid to Work Day'. As they were walking around the office, the young girl starting crying and getting very cranky, her father asked what was wrong with her.

As the staff gathered round she sobbed loudly, Daddy, where are all the clowns that you said that you worked with?

More along the lines of the thread, and less joke like; let me rant a few.

I have PMs out to two members for almost, or exceeding, 24 hours. One response from each, in this time frame; and no more communication on the forum.

I have closed or cancelled ads when I was not going to be available for a period of time, as I do not want to be non-responsive,

Different type ads, so am I wrong to expect a timely (to me) response in both cases?

Generally "timely response" is an undefined period of time. It could be an hour, 24 hours, the next business day or some other period. This is further compounded by the "Users" active time on the Forum. Seems some are on 24/7 while others may only scan it for a few minutes every few days. A note to call or Text is a good indicator of what will get the persons attention.

Even on going communications can be interupted by more important events in peoples lives or a lack of courtesy. I think all Forum communications should be responded to but some say they will ignore precieved "low ball" or simply ignore offers they are not interested in.

I've had to impose hard time lines on potential buyers that won't commit or pass on an item when I have other potential buyers ready at asking price and just pending inspection. I've also messaged $ offers with expiration deadlines, there's a lot of venues with a lot of goods that are also time sensitive: make a deal or move on before you miss out on the next one.

Courtesy and a reasonable response time is always desired but if you want hard timelines, you'll need to put it out there and see what response it gets.

All good points, and I know I have gotten less patient; so a good reminder to use patience when dealing online. Thanks!

    Questions with no apparent answers:

    1. If poison expires, is it more poisonous or is it no longer poisonous?

    2. Which letter is silent in the word "Scent," the S or the C?

    3. Do twins ever realize that one of them is unplanned?

    4. Why is the letter W, in English, called double U? Shouldn't it be called double V?

    5. Maybe oxygen is slowly killing you and It just takes 75-100 years to fully work.

    6. Every time you clean something, you just make something else dirty.

    7. The word "swims" upside-down is still "swims"

    8. 100 years ago everyone owned a horse and only the rich had cars. Today everyone has cars and only the rich own horses.

    9. Why is "abbreviated" such a long word?

    10. Why isn't "phonetically" spelled the way it sounds?

    2. If people evolve from monkeys, why are monkeys still around?

    3. Why is there a 'D' in fridge, but not in refrigerator?

    4. Who knew what time it was when the first clock was made?

    Vagaries of English Language!

Ever wonder why the word funeral starts with FUN?

    Why isn't a Fireman called a Water-man?

How come Lipstick doesn't do what it says?

If money doesn't grow on trees, how come Banks have Branches?

If a Vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a Humanitarian eat?

How do you get off a non-stop Flight?

Why are goods sent by ship called CARGO and those sent by truck SHIPMENT?

Why do we put cups in the dishwasher and the dishes in the Cupboard?

Why do doctors 'practice' medicine? Are they having practice at the cost of the patients?

Why is it called 'Rush Hour' when traffic moves at its slowest then?

How come Noses run and Feet smell?

Why do they call it a TV 'set' when there is only one?

What are you vacating when you go on a vacation?
