Put together the majority of my 300blk upper. Just waiting for the ASR brake...and suppressor. Damn it's small, and it looks like it will come together exactly how I wanted, didn't want to have the suppressor under the handguard, as I wanted to just use the ASR system so I could just swap easily to different caliber stuff. So I went with a 8in barrel and 7in handguard and the threads start about 1/4in passed the handguard so it should look pretty slick when all together. I'm happy with it.

Test fired reloads in the Swede M94/14. Rear sight a total blur in my vision, but got 25yd groups of 1" or less with loads it likes. Will test the two best loads again.

Test fired many loads in the XCR-L 7.5" 5.56 pistol. Nothing shot bad and most all was nearly the same in accuracy and POI. Best was 24.5gr WC844 (surplus powder) and Wolf 55gr fmj bullets. Only saw the Wolf bullets sold as components (same bullet used in their Gold .223) one time and bought a case cheaply. Will sight it in this weekend with that load. Have enough components to load 2000 rounds of that load left. Luckily it likes my 50gr frangible load. Both surplus WC844 and WC846 give bright muzzle flash even in the sun.

Installed Tech Sights and a sling on my new Marlin 70SS Papoose. When the trigger group comes back from the trigger mod, I will be ready to sight her in! Ordered some Tech Sights for my 10-22, scope rail mount model.

Then I snagged an extended mag release for the Ruger 10-22 and installed it.

Too bad you moved. That and the Hybrid suppressor I have would have made for a fun range day.

Been thinking about a .300 pistol build. Let me know how you like yours.

Installed an ASR and ordered a KDG Mrex rail for the scar heavy.

Also been eyeing optics as well. Thinking about a budget nightforce (shv series) 3-10x42 with moar reticle. Still doing research and counting pennies.

Installed my new CMC LANTAC E-CT1 flat trigger on my lightweight build last night. It replaced the Rise Armament RA-140 SST I had in it. I am saving the RA-140 for something else now.

Sighted in my 5.56 XCR-L pistol. Used a red dot sight for the sight-in and left the iron sights zeroed for my 300 Blackout bbl if I want to switch back calibers. My frangible load and my 55gr fmj load hit to the same point, so that's convenient, only requiring I move the gas adjustment from "1" to "3" when using frangibles.

Verified my best test load from the other day in my Swedish M19/14 carbine was still the best load today. Now to load up a batch of that load.

I'm sorting & tumbling brass. Accidently dumped some .40 S&W brass into a container of .45 ACP...fortunately only a few pieces so it was fairly simple to find and remove. .45s are nice and shiny now. I replaced the dirty corn cob media with fresh, added a dash of Frankford Arsenal polish and have 9mm brass tumbling now.

Chronographed my Swedish M94/14 and my 5.56 7.5" XCR-L pistol.

My 160gr 6.5x55 handloads averaged 2120fps at 10' from the chronograph. Actually about 20fps faster than I thought it would be with the carbine's short bbl.

Chronographed my WC844 55gr Wolf fmj load at 1964fps at 10' from the chronograph. About what I expected based upon another 7.5" bbl upper I have. My 50gr frangible load was 2070fps at 10' from the chronograph. About 70fps faster than I expected.

Had some friends shoot the 7.5" pistol so I could get another view of the big muzzle flash with WC844 and WC846 surplus powder.

Yesterday I finished mounting the RMR on that ugly gun of mine and picked up the holster that was made for it.

Today I put up the lights and powered all of the receptacles in my reloading room/shop and cleaned up a little. Siding should be here this coming week then the A/C will go in once that is done.

Made some press tools for some AK work. I started with a very well used 3/4" x 12" brass drift punch I bought yesterday from T&W flea market for $5.

Moved a few boxes of ammo from off the top of an entertainment center cabinet that has to go. Now I just need to get the shelves empty once I figure out where to put the boxes on them so I don’t have to move them again.

Thanks! I am not a carpenter but I have had some mighty fine help along the way. It has taken me almost a year and I see the end in sight.

Excellent, isn't having a lathe and milling machine nice? I'm always finding useful things to do on mine....

I find my wants far out weigh my skills but I'm learning even if it cost me more to do it myself sometimes.

I got really sick the night after this match, so I don't think I ever posted my match videos. It was a really fun match with difficult targets. I'm having some trouble pulling off of targets a little too early, so I need to work on that a lot when I get back to practicing.
