PVC pipe is 1 1/2" ID. The 1x2s I mentioned actually measure about 1/2" x 1.5". I just tapered the ends a bit and they dropped right in.

There’s a welded stand on EBay (seller jstrain1125) that I’m tempted to buy.
    It’s $40 but I’ve got a $15 discount code.
Looks nice and he’s got 100% feedback.

Finally got out to the range to shoot the Kel-Tec SU-16 more. Will update my review on the project thread.

Also planned to sight in an NEF Survivor in .308 after getting the barrel threaded by JJ Unfortunately, after getting the barrel back I realized I forgot and left the scope at home. DOAH! This afternoon, I cleaned it and mounted the MD and cover along with the scope. Ready for the range next week!

Milled and drilled out a 80% receiver that duplicates the Taiwanese T91 markings. Ordered some Vietnam era 20rd M16 magazines for 2 friends and myself to go with our retro builds at what I felt was a good price $17 for new and $15 for used.

Bought myself a new possible carry pistol, a Sig 238. I’ll try it out for a while before letting it take over my edc but thus far I like it.

So far mostly just practice racking the slide, disengaging safety, just trying to acclimate myself to it, shot a mag through it earlier and it feels good.

Bought a CZ Reaper Magnum Turkey shotgun...JIT. Started sighting in and patterning the gun but have to give my shoulder a rest...it is light and packs a wallop on my shoulder!

Been having a situation with 2 AR uppers using DI with WC846 powder leaving more residue in the chamber and upper, in that I'd start having some failures to fully chamber (whereas with WC844 and W748 I do not have that issue in those same uppers). Decided to try WC846 in a gas piston upper...50 straight shots with no problem. Of course it just could be that the lot of WC846 burns dirtier than other lots. At least I have a use for the 24 pounds or so of that lot now.

Still have about a year left on my last 2yr renewal but today went ahead and re-upped my NRA membership for another year. Figure we need them now more than ever.
