Good price 189.95 was the best I could find

Yeah, I lucked out on that deal. I saw he first listed it for $220 shipped, then a few days later he dropped the price to $200 shipped and then late yesterday evening he dropped the price to $175 and I could not resist any longer. I HAD to have it! Lol!

Sighted in the DD... group on the left is a hair bigger than 1 moa. That target is .5" grid.

Not bad for free hand at 100 yards.

I guess that you have a "can" on it as well? If so, from who?
    It's a silencerco omega (30 caliber can)
It really takes a lot out of it, makes 5.56 a real pleasure to shoot. Sounds like a .22 cricket.

That's what I just ordered too, shot a lot of 5.56 out of one a month or so ago. Really enjoyed shooting with it so I had to get one too. I have had a free lower receiver for a while now so I decided to do a 300blk to use with the can too. Ordered a few parts this morning.

Made it home and picked up my Contender frame. Thats a 327 magnum barrel that I put on it along with a 357 maximum barrel I ordered last week. WP_20180709_13_45_55_Pro.jpg

    Very good choice.
Wife has been wanting the Shadow 2 (black, blue grips). I've been waiting for a dip in price. Last years all black S2 was selling under $1K. Its more true functional value than the Fly Girl's laser engraved 1911 she was eyeballing.

Went over to the neighbor's range. Verified my load worked up with pulled 75gr frangible .380 bullets shot nice out of my S&W M&P .380 EZ. Hits to within a 1/4" of the load it's sighted in with at 12yd. Not sure what I'll use the frangible bullets for (might shoot steel at close range), but they were cheap at 4.9 cents each delivered. The company with the pulls has 24,000 of them left...hope they have another sale so I can pick up another thousand; their non-sale price is 7 cents each delivered, which isn't bad. They are made of compressed copper dust and will break in two if a heavy crimp is used.

Took my new S&W M&P .22 Compact out with 10 different ammos to test for accuracy and point of impact with and without a suppressor. Did find one needs to make sure the magazines are properly inserted all the way in and locked in place or they will fall out when the slide is let go to chamber the first round. Had one failure to fire in about 300 rounds fired...deep primer hit; rotated cartridge and it fired on the next try. No failures to lock back slide even with subsonic ammo. No failures to chamber/feed. Tested subsonic, standard velocity and high velocity. Point of impact was the same with and without a Sparrow suppressor...that was good news. No ammo shot crappy (and that included bulk Federal, Winchester, and Remington). All ammo hit within about a half inch of other ammo at 12yd once I got used to shooting the pistol...again, good news.

There had been sporadic reports of the .22 Compact being delivered with rough bores. I checked mine at the store; it was fine. Groups got smaller as I fired; maybe breaking the bbl in and my getting used to the pistol. Once the testing and sighting in were done, I popped cans and dirt clods and had a good time.

Often .22 pistols get rather dirty. Sure there was residue on the feed ramp and rear of the bbl area, but overall it was rather not dirty.

    That is purely sexy. :)
    Thanks James!!
It’s not very comfortable, but much more has been sacrificed for the sake of sexiness.
At least until the novelty wears off. Then I’ll
Probably go with a B&T folder. Lol
And it’s so little without the suppressor, and doggone it does look good!

I managed to get out to SRSC this morning first thing. Shot the newly built M16A1 clone (late 1967-1970 era) first. Sighted it in at 100 yards. Once I did that, I expended a full 20-round magazine of ammo doing nothing but head shots. The C MP C barrel is nearly 50 years old. I then went over to shoot my new Beretta M9A3. Very nice shooting pistol. I still need to get use to the grip as it had the VERTEX frame where the grip is not as big as the standard Beretta 92 frame grip. The trigger is very light and smooth. This will probably me my last range trip until sometime in the fall. I will, hopefully, have my other M16A1 clone (1971 version) done then.
