Saw (and bought) some 22LR at the Crestview WalMart today, something that's very rare for me to see there. They had about 10-12 boxes of Thunderbolt 500/ct.

Any other brands? I got some of the Federal 555rd boxes at the Niceville store a few weeks back for <$.05/rd. Not the best for precision shooting but they work great in my S&W Victory. Last time I was in the Crestview WM, they didn't have any .22 at all. Good to hear they may finally be getting some.

That's all they had yesterday but I went back this morning to return something and while they still had the Thunderbolt, they also had boxes of Winchester 555/ct and Federal 1K/ct. Clerk told me they got 96 boxes of the Winchester in overnight, but I only got one.

I loaded a couple hundred rounds and filled 10 primer tubes on Monday night. Last night I case gauged 1K rounds and loaded a few magazines in preparation for taking my dad and father-in-law to the range on Friday. I still need to load up a lot more mags and make sure I have plenty of earplugs and safety glasses for everyone.

My FIL was a little under the weather and decided to skip the range last Friday, but my dad and I went up for a few hours. He plinked while I practiced, and we both had a great time.

I spent the majority of my time on movement drills:

Since then, I loaded 1800 rounds on Sunday, then dry fired yesterday. I still need to case gauge about half of the ammo before the Stoeger class next Monday.

I think I'm loaded up and ready for a carbine/pistol course tomorrow. If nothing else I know I have plenty of ammo and snacks...always have those two.

I've got to pick up some snacks this weekend. I loctited every screw on my holster and mag pouches tonight and started loading mags in preparation for the Stoeger class on Monday. The glitter holster is going to make its debut.
