I'm curious about that clamp-on sling attachment. Can it clamp on the buffer tube close the receiver so you can still use the SBA3? Do you have a weblink to it? I couldn't find it online to see closer pics.

You can Web search "buffer tube sling adapter". Clamp on and other option will pop up.

I picked up a handful of Colt 20 round AR mags for cheap. From my brief research it seems they are from the very early 70’s. Seem to be in great shape

Dang! Great score. My favorite mag. If they start cluttering up the place let me know. Plastic follower?

They won’t be going anywhere. Alloy follower. One floor plate is even marked 223 which I understand is even older. I too like the 20 round size for general use.

Yep. Prone and bench. Any shiny followers? Most are black. Just saw pic. Good score. Look pretty clean.

Most of mine are COLT with the pony. I have two that say "223Rem". And a couple that say "M16".
The old ones are a "waffle" stamp on the mag body.
Back in the day,the SeaBee's were issued these. I have seen them by the hundreds thrown into a "watermelon box". Wish I had a couple hand fulls of them today. --- SAWMAN

Got the greatest lower EVER! Also stopped by the shooting range and scoped out the sale bin. Got more 30-30 bullets than I know what to do with.
MBC #1 whitetail. Giant box .300/.308 125 and 110 hornady.

Just about anytime I see 20 rd at a good price I buy them. Got a few .223 and 5.56. Would like some of the waffle ones as well.
Some other good ones have cutouts on both sides (ar180) also a 40 rd made by sterling. If you see any call me and I will properly dispose of them. :)

Remembering back <---> there were some mags floating around Vietnam in the late '60's that were larger/longer than the 30's. Can't remember who used them. We were only allowed 20's . . . even with our full auto guns.
The "normal" twenty and thirty rounders were made/produced by quite a few different manufacturers. Remembering . . . we used mostly Colt and OK. --- SAWMAN

Picked up 2 very nice Nikon scopes. One for my .223 varmiteer and one to put on the 9mm 16 inch pcc for fun or maybe the 30-30. Very nice optics, thanks Ray!

After the wife shopping for 2.5 hours at JC Penny, I went ahead and started mods to the Shockwave I recently bought to relax. After a good cleaning with FrogLube I installed the grip tape, flashlight on G&G Shockwave mount, and sling. Today the combo side shell carrier and scope mount rail will come in and I can install that and the shotgun laser to finish it.

Took a long hard look at my range bag today along. Decided to re-arrange and add to the bag for functionality. I had some extra D-Rings, Molle web dominators laying around and I ordered a 5 gun foam pistol cradle from Amazon that came in today. So started to get to cleaning and thinking. The 5 gun pistol cradle is just OK. The trigger guard on my glock 17 and my S&W M&P hits the foam too high up, it would have been nice if it hit that piece a little lower, but it is still ok. Attached a couple of Molle pouches on the side of the bag. Then I took a cardboard roll that my barrel was shipped in and used it for a target holder. Secured it on top of the 2 molle pouches and used the web dominiator to secure it to the bag. Put my range cleaning kit in one pouch and in the other, I put my multi-tool and flash light. Now trying to figure out the best way to store my magazines in a nice orderly fashion. I have Mag holders in the smaller range bag and some holders on the outside of the bag.

A friend brought his new SIG P210A Target to the range, and I brought my 1963 vintage Swiss Army P49 (210-2 when sold in the civilian market). The recoil spring assemblies do not interchange. Put my P49 mag baseplate onto his 210A mag. While the the altered mag will go into the P49 and be locked in place, it pressed too hard against the bottom of the slide for the pistol to function. Oh well. Had hoped for a cheaper source of mags for the P49/P210. New 210A mags are about $40. Used original P49/P210 mags are about $180 to $200.
