      For a first handgun I think that a double action revolver is the way to go! Once you get the basics especially safety down then move on to a semi auto if that's what you want. Just my .02 worth!

      Yup! Makes clean up and lube especially with AK's and AR's. I use it on all my guns including ones that don't get shot much. A quart of each make about a decade's worth of gun lube!

      A bronze bore brush chucked in an electric drill will smooth out a sticky chamber. That followed by my old standby lube 50/50 Marvel Mystery Oil/ Mobil 1 10w-30w synthetic homebrew has always worked for me!
