I think it’s probably fine, pin doesn’t look “broke” I took the stock off and cleaned everything. It looks like the hammer is falling all the way down now enough to make contact but still not making the pin poke out - I’ll shoot it tomorrow and update
Have a Stevens model 94 20guage the hammer falls but won’t engage the firing pin, and the pin moves freely back and forth. Supposed to be for the pops so if someone knows a fix or know a place that can take a look and knock it out real quick any help would be appreciated.
The duck is a major buddy for getting the ol thing taken care off. Not sure the magic that was pulled but very thankful.
I can assure all of you - this thing will never, ever be taken apart by me. I don’t care if I’ll never learn the trick. So long as it works is fine
No matter what this thing beats me, I have to be missing something no matter vertical, upside down, 2 o’clock - I feel like I’ve tried everything I’ve seen or Maybe I should try to be upside down also. i believe it’ll stay non functioning till Sunday
I will gladly take the help! I’ll keep giving it it a try though, there just has to be something I’m missing. But I’ll send a phone number your way and thank you everyone - very helpful bunch, almost expected more bashing
At this point I’ll try almost anything, this thing might actually scar me from ever taking anything else apart. this is worst form of hell I could ever imagine
This sucks, it just will not - work for me. No matter what tip or trick I try. I get zero spring tension when on the very last step. I’ll keep messing with it and hope for the best but I’m so lost on why
