Pretty cool... cheap, too. Like a De Lisle carbine but a Mauser action. Any reviews anywhere on it?

I’ve got a 1936 Mexican Mauser which would probably be a great candidate for this conversion. The 1936 Mexican Mauser was a favorite for custom gunsmiths back in the day; which is why mine would be a good candidate for this conversion, since it has already been sporterized, lol.

At the Wanenmacher's Gun Show, there is a guy who always has had one of the Mauser/45acp conversations for sale. The earlier conversations he did look more like the De Lisle carbine. The later ones, well they start to look less De Lisle and are more free form.

But a cheap way of getting a De Lisle clone.

I think the enfields are easier to do , the rear locking allows the magazine to be closer to the barrel chamber, and that improves the feeding reliability.

The gunsmith at Jay's Range in Baker built himself a De Lisle. He hand machined the Enfield magwell block adapter for 1911 mags. He could probably do it again for you and a Mauser

A 45ACP chamber adapter for a shotgun can do this for whole lot cheaper. If you're worried about quick follow up shots, just get two chamber adapters and a double barrel shotgun.

You could SBR a 45ACP revolver with a bolted/welded on stock and a 6 or 8" barrel, too

I've got a Yugo Mauser clone in good condition, crappy bore. Excess to my needs and taking up room in my safe. MaxNr@aol.com I'll throw in a bayonet. Make offer.
    Nope..

These kits work with Mauser K98, Czech Vz22-Vz24, and Turkish Mausers the best… DO NOT USE YUGOSLAVIAN M48 rifles, it is very difficult to get them to work correctly due to the bolt face and feed ramp designs.

I'll sell you a nice post-WW2 Mauser for $350 just for your project if you let me shoot this 45ACP Mauser a few times. I'll buy the ammo, too. It's got me curious
Mine is a Spanish La Coruna 1950 K98 clone. Would that work?

I saw that just now and thought about it. I'll pass, but only because it's a cock on closing Mauser. I sold all my cock on closing Mausers and M1917's because of the hell they put my hands and wrists thru after a hundred round range session. But man, I thought about it
