PMR30. Haven't shot it yet. Tips or tricks? Key me in on the "fluff and buff" if needed. Any parts need upgrading from factory? Gonna use for general purpose, night-time pest gun. (Adding light) Changing up from 6 shot heritage.

Somebody told me a while back that if you're only loading 10 rounds in these particular models then you ain't gotta be so careful in stacking the rimmed cases

His F&B then the shoot break in with proper lube I believe makes for a reliable weapon.
I would really like to have a OD framed gun. --- SAWMAN

Might tiger stripe this one for fun. Whats the proper lube?? Use rem oil on most everything. Except the C308- grease... I've often wondered what cutting oil would do??

Should have bought more ammo!! This thing rocks. Can shoot em and set em on fire.Is shooting bullets just not cool enough for you? Get a Maliwan and light some people on fire!" I swear somebody at kelctec plays borderlands,, just look at their weapons.. Had one missfeed, I think it was my loading. Rimlock maybe?

    Pretty much any dry lube.
I discourage use of much oil in .22WMR's...for multiple reasons.

I'm particularly OCD about my .22 WMR's...but there are reasons for that.
Oil + heat + pressure + burnt powder = glue.
If you oil the barrel of any .22WMR, suggest running dry patches thru until totally DRY.
I also set the barrel aside on a paper towel or cloth overnight to drain any missed residue.
Crown Down. Then run check patches the next day. Occasionally use compressed air.
Most folks ain't as picky about it...But that's why they run so well for me :)
Used to do the same thing with issued M16A2 & M60E3...always kept the actions super-clean.
Mine never jammed...others were not so lucky.

Honestly there are more modern cartridges that do a better job...
    .22TCM...5.7...etc...
but ya can't fit 30 of 'em in a single mag that fits INSIDE the grip, can ya?

    I own multiple WMR platforms...
    Marlin 922M
    Marlin 25MN
    Keltec PMR30
    Grendel P30, P31, R31
and at the moment, probably 3-4 others in various safes...need to do an inventory...lol

Also live in Florida, where the humidity is a PITA, so the guns get cleaned on schedule,
and after every range visit/hunting trip. Goldenrods are your friend ;)

I would also like to thank GREY MAN ARMOURY for having PMR/CMR mags in stock.
Bought one a couple weeks ago :)

Thanks!! I usually use rem oil. Oil it up, let it sit it actually appears to leaves a film on the parts when it evaporates.
Your right though, I think they sweep the floor in the factory and throw it in the hoppers when no one is looking. 22 lr especially thunderbolt is nasty. I got the pistol for fun, and remember the Grendel and always thought it was cool. Been looking for more 22 mag but no luck locally, but I know a guy. .. I do need 2 more mags
