Several years ago there were strict age restrictions placed on federal law enforcement applicants, ie, hire dates and retirement age. I'm not sure if they are still in effect. I believe you will find the age question to be more lenient in state and local agencies. Good luck.
The "odd duck" in the bunch is the Goodwill Store at Ellyson (Field) Industrial Park in Pensacola. It is attached to the company warehouse. Most articles are overflow, tumbled into bins, and sold by the pound...$1.79. They have clothes, shoes, kitchen items, etc. Books run from $.50 to $.75...
That was our topic of discussion today...how long before it gets it's Congressional Gold Medal. They are throwing them out like Mardi Gras beads. The entire bunch of security guards at the capitol got them for doing what most real police officers do several times in a career.

The chrysanthemum was a symbol of the Emperor, who was considered a god during that period. The "mum" was ground so the surrendered weapon would not disgrace the Emperor.
I am like my dad. I do not want white roe from the male mullet. Back in the '50's, in Panama City, the party boats would come in with stringers of huge trigger fish just to show off. They were considered "trash" fish and thrown overboard for the crabs and seagulls. A few years ago, Shrimp...
