Wouldn’t go in trap for a week so had to shoot him. He was castrated and ear marked. From the fat on him in my area def got out of a pen or been hitting a feeder. We don’t have crop fields for them to eat on. Should eat real well. That makes 16 caught in 1.5 months trapping in a gated community.

Indiana. Me and my buddy decided to try and manage his 100 acre farm after season last year to see what a little extra feed and mineral would do. I take off every November and hunt up there a couple weeks. This is the result so far. The genetics were there just gave them a bump. You can’t...

      New trap today

Built this c style trap for a home owner today. Now just to see if it works. They’ve had 2 big companies in the neighborhood with only 1 hog caught before I came in for a favor. Caught 8 in three weeks with a 4x8. The hogs started getting trap shy so opened it up a bit.

      41st "pasture rat" killed

I feel ya on the no answers when called. Where I am I’ve trapped 12 in the last 2 weeks out of a neighborhood doing a favor for a friend. No body wants them unless they are free and skinned and quartered. Used to get 40 to 80 skinned and quartered with no questions all day long. Since I don’t...

      Deer feeders

My 600lb round with the ladder sucked to put together but all hardware was there and was labeled step by step and individually packaged by number. Some wrenches and cordless drill with socket set helps a lot. Has been hassle free and Well worth it though. As you can see spends a lot of time...

Deer Rifle suggestions 300 yard "0"

The .243 is my primary hog gun now and all my wife uses in indiana. Those deer are 190 to 240lbs and she’s never had one walk. Her last deer was at 225 yards and piled up. My buddies son uses the same cva single shot I use. We use the 95 grain hornady precision hunters.
