They’re typically out of any sort of spec, but mostly work usually. It’s just not worth the hassle when there are other choices for not a lot more.

I just got a MAC 1014 a week ago. So far I like it, it won’t cycle low brass 7 1/2 shot but it’s cycled everything else I’ve put in it. I’ve only got 150 rounds through it so far so durability I have no idea.

I primarily hunt with 5.56 in my ARs but also have a few .308 ARs that see field use and my only centerfire bolt gun is .308.
Thinking about a 6.5 Grendel upper for next year.

That bill is already a state law in Florida (790.29) and Alabama (Alabama Code § 31-2-125) and IIRC every other state.
I’m more concerned about the stupid add-ons they stick into it.
