OP here, i went with joel at armed house in warrington to transfer the beretta 92 ordered. really nice guy and knows what he's doing. got to have a nice chat while waiting on the background check. btw, he's also a class III so i'll see him for my next suppressor.
damn! with all the extras this is a deal! i have an M11/nine and i paid a fortune gathering all the xtras that come with this gun. 22lr conversion kits alone go for huge bucks. not to mention, if you're local, being able to meet the seller, check out the gun and shoot it. one the scariest things...
thanks guys for all the great info! i think this might be a good time for me to make the journey out to milton and get to know the gun shops out there. i once bought a suppressor from little jacks and and doing business with nate was a great experience.
i have called a couple close to me, Uber and Jim's, and they were $40 and $65 respectively. that seems a little rich to me or maybe i'm just out of touch. i was hoping to find something that had slipped under the google radar and was a little cheaper. in the past i used Jimmy at Coastal Gun and...
i just thought it was interesting that they had an actual address here locally. surely, someone here has gone by to see who and what they were. next time i'm in the north end of the county i'll check it out.
hi all, i was wondering if anyone here had done business with these folks or had been to there shop in Century. thanks.

hi kendive, yup, the hard start kits are a lot cheaper. i've been using them for years to cheat a little more time out of an older compressor unit. and yes, they're about 20 times cheaper than a soft start unit. but as you know, they don't do anything to drop the in rush current.
any reason you...
hi baddog, thanks for the input. you're right about how much fuel one of these can burn. fortunately, i have natural gas on site not that it'll be any cheaper. a friend ran up a $700 dollar NG bill after hurricane sally. as far as what to do, i've lived on the water on the west side of p'cola...
i'll probably do this after i find an electrician that can install a switch and dedicated panel for a generator. it's hard to get someone on the west side to come out, everyone seems to be slammed. if this unit works as advertised it'll make a big difference in the generator capacity need to run...
