Everything is subjective. One size fits all solutions just don't work for shooting. We should cover the basics, really just the foundation of good shooting techniques and then let that person press a trigger about 10000 times or so. That's when when the "magic" happens. When all the injuries, strengths and weaknesses assert themselves and form the bedrock of that person's style. Instructors more often than not teach what works for them, ironclad and unbending. Buncha chewed up grass really.
