Everybody that's anybody is saying hyperinflation is right around the corner, and that the bubble that is formed by the worlds reserve currency (the US dollar) hyper inflating is going to be extremely painful for countries who have to convert their currency into the worlds reserve currency just to buy gas and other imports. A lot of people are already paying double what we pay at the pump. The country that inflates their currency the most goes bankrupt and feels the pain last, and that'll be the US, because we're already paying half what everybody else is paying for imports. This means that the real winners here when the hyperinflation hits are the people and banks that already hold massive amounts of cheap debt before the hyperinflation starts, because the interest rates will be rendered null and void and they'll basically get all that they borrowed for free. When the minimum wage goes to $1,000/hour (+-) and the printing presses are churning out money round the clock and a single gold coin buys an entire city block and it takes a wheelbarrow full of cash just to buy a spot in the soup kitchen line, then the people in massive amounts of cheap debt will be able to pay it all back like overnight. This is already happening with the money the private Federal Reserve bank has borrowed from China. China has considered the US in default on the loans from before and after the 2007 bubble popping for the last few years. The dollar dropped in value by half like two different times since Obama got elected and borrowed more money than every past president combined, making the interest rate null and void. It's the greatest scam in the world, beating even the American stock market. Its 20-30 TRILLION dollars for free

Well, free $ until China decides that it wants it back. I wonder what all the liberal yuppies will do when there are Chinese aircraft carrier groups parked in New York harbor, San Francisco and Mobile Bay. China has three relatively new aircraft carrier groups. Built to project power, and they have a shelf life. They were built for a reason. Carriers, ballistic missile submarines, destroyers. China built a 4,000 man naval refueling station at the bottom of the world, too, so that they can come around to our side of things without going through the American controlled choke point called the Panama Canal. And then China built air bases right off the coasts of every one of our allies in the Pacific Ocean. They're coming to collect a debt, sooner rather than later.

The last figure I heard was that 40 cents of every Federal dollar spent was borrowed from China. Enjoy your cheap Chinese stimulus checks, folks, because there'll be hell to pay for it later

If the west goes broke, who will china sell too. bankrupted countries are poor customers. What is dangerous is the chinese may decide to buy america, but at inflated prices.

Free trade zones: could much of the benefit of conquering a county be accomplished with specially negotiated economic zones? Don't know much about them but could special deals be extorted from US and possibly reduce the risk of having to conquer and occupy the entire county. I am assuming they just want our money and resources.

Essentially that is pretty much what the western powers did to China in the 19th century had a lot to do with the Boxer rebellion. The difference was the chinese did not have a modern navy or much in the way of shore batteries to deal with superior naval forces seizing their major ports and cities.

Scene from movie the Sand Pebbles of a US Navy river gunboat facing a chinese blockade.

The Sand Pebbles (1966) THIS SCENE HAS BEEN UPLOADED BY ME IN ENGLISH. Unless you speak German, go check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtrEs... I will keep this upload available for archive purposes. Comments disabled because of complaining boomers. In another rare deleted scene, just before the climactic battle at the boom, the U.S.S. San Pablo's steady advance is temporarily halted when a fire breaks out after the gunboat is struck by a Chinese black powder deck gun. The fire is put under control, and fighting resumes. Once in range, the sailors open fire on the Nationalists with Springfield M1903s, a B.A.R. M1918 (equipped by the film's protagonist), two Lewis guns (removed from their pintles, thus rendering them squad automatic weapons), and a 3"/23 caliber deck gun. Long before the original Roadshow version of The Sand Pebbles became available on the 2007 Fox Cinema Classics Collection DVD, this missing scene and several others like it on German 35mm film were the only proof that they actually existed. Hence the dubbing. This video is being uploaded for educational purposes.

China is buying America one business at a time. My wife managed a former a Naval Air Station's base housing up north. She was a leasing manager for over 600 units on an airfield, with a few hangars and a tower for rent. State of the art in late the 90's. Only recently shut down. A single investor bought it all, sold all the ranch and colonials off, then the rest got sold to conglomerates two different times. This latest is a very unassuming American sounding brand, out of Texas, even. Her boss flew to a board meeting to meet the new owners. Every single one of them in the room was Chinese. A whole skyscraper full of Chinese real estate investors. And they just bought the Peoples Republic of China a naval air station.....

Looks like there are quite a few. I wonder what goes on in these zones?

You are implying that there are no customs or immigraton controls by the US government. Acoording tothat map it looks Pensacola is such a zone and there is another for mobile Alabama. Please cite your source.

There is an easy fix for that when it gets to an alarming point. Take a page from the communist handbook and seize the businesses of the foreign imperialist devils. That is with no compensation. After the war with mexico we seized what became the southwest and also CA and while we promised, we never paid them anything as I recall.
The United States also paid $15,000,000 ($482 million in 2016 dollars) for the land, and agreed to assume $3.25 million in debts to US citizens.[2] While technically the territory was purchased by the United States, the $15 million payment was simply credited against Mexico's debt to the U.S. at that time.

I did not mean to imply that there are currently no controls under existing agreements. I am learning about these and was surprised how many there are. Whole new topic I know little about. I enjoy learning new things. Sorry for any confusion.

Since 1986, U.S. Customs' oversight of FTZ operations has been conducted on an audit-inspection basis known as Compliance Reviews, whereby compliance is assured through audits and spot checks under a surety bond, rather than through on-site supervision by Customs personnel.[3]

There are over 230 foreign-trade zone projects and nearly 400 subzones in the United States.[4][5][6]

I looked at wikipedia and got confused over the information. They date to 1930 with all sorts of modifications to the original law over the years. It is meant to give localities some sort of advantage, but I did not have the patience to figure it out. Certainly bears watching and learning more about them.

Just so you know, I was just throwing out this idea as a way for another country to get something from us without going to war to get it. They just need to negotiate a sweet deal or maybe have the regulations changed.

I have momentum so I will post this and be done with it:

    FYI:

Pensacola has granted FTZ #249 and comprises:

    • Century Industrial Park
    • Pensacola Regional Airport
    • Pensacola Marine Terminal
    • Spruce Street Industrial Complex
    • Port of Pensacola

    From the City of Pensacola:

Yeah I heard on another forum a while ago that the Chinese had bought cheap farm land in Tornado Alley also. And they're just sitting on it, waiting. So that when the time comes a Chinese central base could spring up and have easy reach of our whole country. Of course, it would be called an embassy, not a base. Just like how America's largest "embassy" in the world is in Iraq.

Because the 20 trillion dollars of Chinese money that the private bank called the Federal Reserve borrowed was secured with Federal natural resources. Like Yellowstone, the Grand Canyon, etc, all used as collateral for our loans that the Chinese already consider us in default on

China's currently held total of U.S debt is $1.1 Trillion, barely over half of the last Stimulus Package. Japan holds the most at $1.13 Trillion. China can buy a former Naval Air Station but they will never base their military aircraft or forces there. The "Gov" allows a lot of crappy sales to foreign Govs, like U.S. uranium production to Russia (thanks hitlery & oduma).

The U.S. never defaulted on Debt China holds. China "felt" there may be "issues" when raising the National Debt Ceiling was was being debated. Odd nobody wants to collect China's War Debt on nearly a Trillion dollars owed to the U.S..
